The Health Graph - autopilot-uploader · Last updated: 18 August 2026
autopilot-uploader is a private, internal command-line application used by the owner of the YouTube channel The Health Graph to upload the channel's own, self-produced videos to that channel via the YouTube Data API v3. It is a single-user tool. It has no public sign-up, no accounts, and no users other than the channel owner.
What data the application accesses
The application uses Google OAuth 2.0 with a single scope,
youtube.upload, authorized by the channel owner for the
owner's own channel. This scope only permits uploading videos. The
application does not read, collect, or process any data about viewers,
subscribers, comments, analytics, or any other YouTube user.
How data is stored
- The OAuth refresh token is stored locally in an environment file on the owner's own computer, readable only by the owner's user account.
- Credentials are transmitted only to Google's OAuth and YouTube API endpoints over HTTPS, and to no other destination.
- No databases of Google user data are kept. The only YouTube data retained is the video ID of each upload, stored in the owner's own publishing log.
Data sharing
No data obtained through the YouTube API is shared with, sold to, or transferred to any third party. No data is used for advertising purposes.
Google API Services User Data Policy
autopilot-uploader's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
YouTube API Services
This application uses YouTube API Services. By using it, the (sole) user agrees to the YouTube Terms of Service. The Google Privacy Policy also applies.
Revoking access and deleting data
The channel owner can revoke the application's access at any time via Google security settings, and delete all locally stored credentials by deleting the local environment file.
